Talks Sasquatch Dumpling Gang
When and where did you see "The Sasquatch Dumpling
Gang?"*
I saw SDG At The Michigan Film Festival in Early June.
With who did you attend the Waterfront Film Festival,
and were they just as interested and excited as you to be seeing SDG,
and what did they think of the movie after they'd seen it?
I Saw the Movie With My Best Friend and my Parents. My Friend was pretty
much excited for seeing it, and I think me and my mom were the most eager
of the 4 to see it, Since I have gotten my mom so intrigued with this
movie, and my mom is a big Justin Long Fan. My Dad I don't think even
knew too much what it was about, So he didn't know what to think I don't
think!
Can you describe what it was like the first few
minutes before the movie started (were you excited, nervous, in disbelief,
etc..)?
I was beyond Nervous and excited. The whole Arena was filling up like
crazy, It was so loud, and It was so nerve-wracking, Cause its like you've
been waiting for this movie for almost a year now, and its like You finally
realize that in a few minutes, Your gonna be seeing it! I remember actually
shaking like crazy, I don't know if it was because it was Cold or Because
I was so excited! The First few minutes before it started seemed to go
on forever and ever.**
Describe
your surroundings. What kind of venue was it playing in (was it
a regular movie theater)?
It was playing Actually in a Yacht Storage Kinda Place, It was Very
Very Very Big, And Had Many Many Many Chairs, Which about I would
say 99.9% of all chairs were filled, But The Screen was about 50
X Bigger than a regular theater screen, which made it much better
to watch the movie and they had the Sound on Blast, And The whole
Arena was Packed, Which made it evenmore exciting**
We've heard some of the people (the
director, producer, actors) involved with SDG were in attendance.
Who did you get to meet, and what were your impressions of those
people?
Tim Skousen, Joey Kern, And Justin long. And I was able to go up
to Justin and Joey after the Q&A. I thought When I was watching
Tim answer the questions, That he seemed very funny about things
and had many interesting things to say about the movie, Which is
what I really Liked about hisresponses. Justin was just hilarious
and when we went up to him He was funny and Just A complete dork
and completely down to Earth, and Joey was the same exact way. He
was funny and just a Great guy and What I loved was his voice was
nothing like his character in the movie, So to hear his real voice
it was completely different and to be able to meet your favorite
character in the movie was pretty awesome.

a sign of things to come: The long line to see The SasquatchDumpling

Who
was your favorite character in the movie, and why?
Shirts Would have to be my favorite Character in the movie. Because,
he's
probably in my opinion the funniest in the movie, and he talks with
a sort of weird low pitched lisp voice. Which makes everything he
says funny, And he says and just does the funniest things in the
whole movie, and just the things he does and say in the movie, make
it that much better, And he's always like high on Crack or something,
So he always doesn't know what's going on and he's always out of
it and everything, and talks completely random stuff. And he always
has a corndog in his hand. Which is hilarious.

There
was a question and answer portion of the screening. Would you mind
telling us about it? Were there any interesting questions &
answers?
Well Justin and Joey and Tim all had interesting things to say about
the Movie. Their were only about two questions that I remember them
talking about and One of them Was " How Did you come up with
the characters in the movie" And Tim actually had a long response
and said most of the characters he actually knew in real Life, and
Took his real life things and put them in the movie. And most of
the characters personalities mostly came from those people. And
Another question was " Was Gavin really suppose to fall off
that hill in the bike scene?" And Tim said that Jeremy actually
wasn't suppose to fall of his bike but the cast was laughing so
hard and thought it was hysterical that they asked Jeremy if he
could do it again and Jeremy was fine with it. And he mentioned
how hyper Jeremy was on set, which we all heard he always is, But
it was funny to see what Tim had to really say about Jeremy. And
Justin actually mentioned that in the bike Scene, Everybody couldn't
stop laughing, So if you listen to that scene really carefully,
You can hear the cast laughing over him falling off his bike.
