Several of the filmmakers behind last year's sleeper hit "Napoleon Dynamite" are reteaming on "The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang," to be produced by Trigger Street Prods. and Crazy Dreams Prods.

"I'm about to start a new film next week that shoots in Oregon that is called The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang. It's a lot of the same people from Napoleon Dynamite and its a hilarious script! I think you all will enjoy it and will be quoting lines from the movie. I'm also looking at some other film scripts that look pretty good and when I decide something, I'll let you know."

Filming Schedule
It begins filming May 31st of 2005, and, according to oregonfilm.org it will be in production for 6 weeks:
SDG Films will bring their feature project The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang to Oregon at the end of May for a scheduled six week shoot. Jeremy Coon, the Producer of last year’s runaway Indie hit Napoleon Dynamite has reteamed members from that production, including Director of Photography Munn Powell and Production Designer Cory Lorenzen, to bring Writer-Director, Tim Skousen’s comic tale of several converging groups searching for proof of the legendary sasquatch.

This low budget film will be shot in the Portland area.

"It's great to be involved with the Trigger Street gang in a effort to make a truly great film that revolves around a pile of Sasquatch poo," said "Napoleon Dynamite" producer Jeremy Coon, in announcing a deal with TriggerStreet Independent for his a new film.

Plans have been unveiled for The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang, a new production from Trigger Street, marking the first film to go into production from the Trigger Street Independent Banner. The project, to be directed by Tim Skousen, is a partnership with Crazy Dreams Productions. It is described as "a comic tale of several converging groups searching for proof of the legendary Sasquatch" and will begin shooting in Oregon later this month.

In announcing the project, TriggerStreet noted that Jeremy Coon, producer and editor of "Napoleon Dynamite" is reuniting with key members from that team, including DP Munn Powell and production designer Cory Lorenzen, as well as Skousen, who served as first AD on "Napoleon." Jared Hess, writer/director of "Napoleon" is Executive Producer.

"We are very proud to have "'Sasquatch' as our first film," said Trigger Street Indie's Mark Kassen in a statement. "The fantastically funny and unique script that Tim wrote, along with the strong team Jeremy has put together exemplify the kind of original voices and burgeoning communities that Trigger Street Independent was created to support and take part in."

Kevin Spacey & Producer Dana Brunetti of Trigger Street Productions & TriggerSteet.com along with Writer/Directors Adam Kassen & Mark Kassen joined forces last fall to form Trigger Street Independent. Micah Green and Matt Littin of Cinetic Media and Dan Steinman of Sloss Law Office brokered the deal.
