Adorkabledee shares her Jeremy IMTA experience with the Angels

When and where did your Jeremy meeting take place?
I met Jeremy on January 6, 2005 in the Westin Bonaventure hotel in Los Angeles, California.

Why were you attending the IMTA convention, and what kind of things did you participate in?
When i first started liking Jeremy i learned he went to the iMTA to get discovered. I really wanted to break into the industry also so i thought iMTA would be a great place to get discovered like Jeremy. I saw an advertisement in my local newspaper for iMTA auditions and I went to it. I made it, and had modeling lessons for 4 months before the convention. I participated in all the modeling competitions. Including, jeans, fashion runway, fashion print, tv beauty (commercial), swimwear, and makeup.

When did you first see Jeremy, and what was your first reaction?
I first saw Jeremy while i was standing on line for the swimwear competition. The judges took a 10 minute break and so i just stood on line, i was really nervous to go on and I just stared down on the floor. When I looked up I saw Jeremy about 10 feet away from me. I was aboslutely Speechless. I really didn't know what to do. i kept thinking, "this is it. that's him. it's him..it's him" no one around me knew how Obsessed i was with him. So i just stood watching him. He talked with a few people and his former teacher (he hugged and kissed her.).. then he went up on stage to say a lil' speech. I honestly was not paying much attention to his speech...lol. i just remember him saying, "Go iMages" (his former model/acting school).

What was Jeremy's role at the IMTA convention, and what did he participate in?
Jeremy was a guest speaker and judged part of the swimwear competition.

What was one thing that stood out about Jeremy, and/or one thing that surprised you about him?
This is a toughy. ummm, well you can clearly see the scar on his forehead from that fan accident. I was really surprised of how shy and quiet he really was. I expected him to be really outgoing and talkative...but he wasn't.

Did you get to speak to Jeremy, and if so, what did you two talk about?
I got to speak a little with Jeremy. The first time i saw him, he was getting an interview done with some iMTA employee. After that, I ran up to him and asked if i could have a picture taken with him. he said, "Ya sure." but then some people took him away and said he needed to judge now. he sed, "o, sorry, i have to go now, maybe later." i was sooo disappointed, but i knew i'll see him again. The next time i saw him was after the swimwear competition. he was in the main lobby/cafe signing autographs. i was around 5th on line. When it was my turn, we said "hi". Then I asked if he could sign my headshot. i asked him to use my special gold pen. he did then asked, "do you want a picture?" and i sed, "ya.." then we posed for the camera. He was holding my special paint pen and I asked to have it back. he dropped it on the ground and had to bend down and pick it up. that's when everyone on like started "awww-ing" and giggling. i said i was sorry cuz it dropped while he was passing it to me. and then he sed, "o it's ok". then we said our goodbyes. Then i met him one last time. we were going down the escalotrs and i looked to my left and i saw Jeremy and Mark going down another escalator. i was again in complete shock, but this time Jeremy smiled to me. i was sooo excited because i guess he recognized me. i followed him down the escalator (lol, i'm a stalker!!). we talked on the escalator. i told him i liked clubhouse, he sed, "o, ya, you know it was cancelled right?" i sed, "ya, sorry" and he sed, "it's ok." then we took another picture together. we said our final goodbyes and he left.

How would you describe your overall experience of meeting Jeremy?
one word..Indescribable. it was just amazing. i mean, it was a Dream Come True. I couldn't believe it happened. i've been obsessed with him since January 1, 2004 when i first saw Peter Pan...then one year and 5 days later...I actually meet Jeremy Sumpter. It was incredible. It's an amazing feeling to have a dream come true when you least expect it. ( wishing...praying...and dreaming really do pay off! )

How did Jeremy interact with his fans(was he appreciative and friendly)?
He was very friendly and appreciative. I also think he was a bit nervous because there were dozens of girls around him in their bikinis. lol.

If you could go back to that day would you have changed anything, or done anything differently?
I think I would have tried to talk to him more. One of the people from my school who's about 30 years old talked to Jeremy for 20 minutes!! they talked about rock-n-roll and music. When i learned he talked to Jeremy for this long, I thought.."man. i should have talked to Jeremy longer. he's just a teenager like me." then i thought.."i should have at least asked to kiss him!!"

Would you like to meet Jeremy again?
DEFiNiTELY!!!!!!!!!
